The location was excellent, we had a lovely view of the ocean and it was very accessible by car. The holiday home is warm, cosy and well-equipped to meet needs. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, would definitely return again if I'm in the area.

I can't rate the old chair workshop highly enough - absolutely beautiful find after a long day on the dales way. Excellent facilities, lovely kitchen with everything you could want, well decorated. It was a very cold night (about minus 8) but I was warm and cosy. Thankyou!

Carlisle Central, Cute Studio Appt, The Cupboard ligger i Carlisle, 33 km fra Thirlwall Castle, 38 km fra Brougham Castle og 44 km fra Whinfell Forest. The place was clean, in an excellent location for looking around the town, shopping and the train station. We came by train and used this place as a base for travelling to the Lakes District, taking the train around the Cumbrian Coast as well as going to look around Lancaster. The Cupboard provided a wonderful base to complete these activities, as well as looking around Carlisle itself. A bonus was the fact that, not only did the host leave chocolates and wine when we arrived, there was also milk in the fridge for a cup of tea or coffee and washing powder for use in the washing machine. Not many places are that considerate of their guest's needs.

Woodpecker lodge, Camelot Holiday Park, CA6 5SZ, ligger i Carlisle, 45 km fra Housesteads Roman Fort, 46 km fra Brougham Slot og 12 km fra Carlisle Station. We arrived late at night to the property , and it was difficult to find out the caravan due to the darkness, but the property owner was very helpful, picked up my the cal, and guided us well. We enjoyed the stay. Thank you !
