Situated just 47 km from Cholet textile museum, Chateau L' Escale features accommodation in Saint-Herblon with access to an indoor pool, massage services, as well as luggage storage space. Château l'Escale is a very charming place to stay, situated in a calm and well-kept private park. It is located on a hill some 30 mins by bike off the bike route "la Loire a Vélo". It is a tastefully renovated manor house with a heated pool in a covered greenhouse. We were staying there with our kids and had two beautiful rooms with a separate bathroom and a private balcony. All rooms are very clean and nicely renovated. Breakfast is lovely and make sure you ask for the home-made dinner, should you travel by bike (as there are no restaurants nearby). It is also possible to prepare a meal in the guest kitchen. We could leave our bikes in a secured shelter on the premises. The landlord is very nice and helpful and did everything to make our stay an unforgettable experience - thank you so much for your hospitality!

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, La maison neuve is set in Fontaines, 49 km from La Rochelle Train Station and 40 km from Niort Train Station. 20 out of 20. We could not have asked for a better stay. The place is absolutely beautiful with its low wooden ceilings and countryside. Farmhouse feel. We slept really well, everything is really clean, and the host brought us an abundance of food. We were greeted to delicious cookies, baguette, brioche, the next day, and the fridge was filled with delicious homemade jams and an assortment of eggs, juices, milk, butter, everything you would need for delicious French toast, which we had. We were flabbergasted by the hosts kindness. Thank you. The puppy that greeted us outside was really friendly too, and was just begging to play with our daughter.

Set in Les Épesses, 3.9 km from Puy du Fou Theme Park and 28 km from Art and History Museum, ATELIER 85 offers a garden and air conditioning. Great location to visit Le Puy du Fou. Very modern amenities, comfy bed, large enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. Bakery only 10 min walk away.

Les Gîtes de la Frérie are located in La Gaubretière. The accommodation is 48 km from Nantes. The holiday home offers a terrace. Guests can also relax in the garden. Very close, about 10-15 minute drive, to Puy du Fou. The apartment was very clean and had all required facilities.

Featuring pool views, La Grange Gites provides accommodation with patio, around 28 km from Halle au Blé. I did not have breakfast the location looks to be very good but difficult to say when having a one night stop over.
