Only 10 mins by car to the very interesting town Auxerre. Highly recommendable!

Avallon is situated in a beautiful part of Burgundy.

We enjoyed our afternoons by the pool, an amazing calm oasis. The included breakfast was delicious; it is always a pleasure to see people focus on quality local ingredients. Juliénas itself is a quaint small town with many excellent restaurants, only a short walk or drive away from the accommodation. Our holiday coincided with the Nuits du Vin event of the village which added an additional opportunity to taste the production of local winemakers. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning in the future!
