Great communication with host via WhatsApp. There were several useful items there too in the kitchen: coffee, tea, chocolate powder, oil and condiments, as well as soaps and shower gels in the bathroom. Good WiFi (there's 2 codes, downstairs/upstairs. There's a well stocked supermarket and bar less than 10 minutes walk away. There are lovely walks around the village from the digs and into the forest. The bus service is very good (we didn't need a car). We particularly liked taking the bus to Restinga for a swim and ice-cream.

The location is great, close to amazing sights, a few typical mini-markets and the nearby town with all the services, shops and restaurants one might need. Both the mountain and ocean views are breathtaking. It was very clean upon arrival and on a quiet street with just a few other houses. Well-equipped with almost everything one might need. There were issues with the Wifi upon arrival, but the owners promptly responded and advised the technician and it was resolved in a few days.

Great access to all parts of the island; the immediate locality is very green. Likely to book up very quickly!
