Located in Santa Bárbara de Samaná and only 2.1 km from Cayacoa Beach, Samana house provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Owner/host was very communicative and checked in thru WhatsApp often. She wasn't on site but if I needed anything at all, I could reach her at any time. The cleaning lady lives on-site, so she was always available. 10 min walk to town area (grocery stores nearby) and 20-25 min walk to the beach. The street noise is loud in Samana but in my room it was not a problem (I shut windows and turned on the fan). I felt very comfortable and safe. The kitchen was nice, had everything one could need and there was even a wash machine if you needed to do some laundry. I ended up staying another 3 nights :)

Boasting a hot tub, Playa Bonita 4 minute walk from our private Villa Anantara Bonita is set in Las Terrenas. Very friendly host. Amazing villa and thoughts to every detail. We didn't use the jacuzzi. Ryan who I had WhatsApp contact with was super friendly. I would highly recommend it and stay here anytime again. We had a great beach day at the mosquito beach club which is close by.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, 3 Bedroom Pool Villa 50M To The Beach is situated in Las Terrenas. The Villa is awesome and the host is always ready to assist with anything. The guy managing the place is great and a cool dude. When I needed a car they got me a great one at a great rate with insurance. Very safe area with night security and an electronic gate. The Air Conditioning works great and the private pool can’t be beat. It’s a 2 minute walk to the beach and several restaurants. The mini market about a 1 minute walk up the same road has the basics for your stay such as water, soda, soap… You can drive, moto or have delivery of groceries from La Sirena Supermarket further in town. We also received delivery of multiple items, including chicken soup ingredients and Presidente beer from a local colmado. Additionally, with the addition of a sidewalk along the beach side, it’s now a safe and easy 10 minute walk to the fisherman on the beach and the rest of town with numerous restaurant options along the way. Previously, that walk required walking in the roadway which exposes pedestrians to traffic but that has now been resolved with the sidewalk. I wholeheartedly recommend this to all. My family - wife and 3 kids - enjoyed it very much.

Located in El Limón, Tropical Cottage En Eco Casa Algana features accommodation with a private pool, a patio and inner courtyard views. This is a paradise for nature lovers. It's surrounded by jungle and it has most incredible views. Costanza is a great host, she was so helpful with everything and helped us arrange hikes to amazing vrgin beaches. I traveled with family and this was one the most beautiful places we've stayed at. You should be familiar with the eco-lodge concept before you book.
