Casa Aire Libre is a recently renovated holiday home in Puerto Jiménez, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and garden. mi è piaciuto tutto di casa aire libre, luogo meraviglioso in mezzo alla natura, la proprietà dispone di tutti i confort, questo è stato il soggiorno più bello di tutta la nostra vacanza in Costa Rica , la proprietà è molto grande ed accogliente, il terreno circostante è pieno di fiori e vegetazione, c è anche una vasca naturale dove potersi immergere per rinfrescarsi. Le stanze pulitissime e le lenzuola fresche, il bagno immerso nella natura è davvero comodo e suggestivo. La cucina ha tutto il necessario per cucinare in autonomia, abbiamo fatto delle buonissime colazioni handmade di frullati e gallo pinto. C era anche una bellissima lavatrice che ci è stata molto utile. Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti Zulay, una signora molto gentile che ci ha aiutati ad organizzare la nostra cena di Natale e anche le escursioni, sarei rimasta tutta la vacanza a Casa Aire Libre.

He gave lots of info of what was possible.

We were concerned when we booked this as it is off grid, and we were unsure how we would cope staying there for 4 nights in the middle of nowhere. It was absolutely fine though and we would strongly recommend the place. When you arrive, you leave your car at the Rangers office and walk 10 mins to the accommodation. Val and Ron, who run the place, were so helpful with guiding us there and helping to carry bags. They were so friendly and interesting to talk to about their life there. The house is lovely, being very well equipped, clean, and comfortable. It is very private, not being overlooked and surrounded by a large garden. The place is off grid, but there is solar powered USB point for phones, and WiFi is accessible at the Rangers office. Ice was delivered every morning to use in the Pelican cooler, which worked so well to keep everything cool. You need to take all the food with you as there are no restaurants in the local area. The pool is big and lovely to cool down in. The wildlife is amazing, just be prepared to share the accommodation with some of it, there is a small colony of bats in one of the bedrooms, which are harmless and don't bother you and are fascinating to watch. The bird dawn chorus is one we will never forget, so many sounds, along with the magical fire flies at night. Can't list everything we saw, but highlights including the swallow tailed kites, white hawk following the squirrel monkeys along the river. We sat by the river for 3 hours early one morning and let the wildlife come to us. We saw so much! It is a wonderful place and an experience we will never forget and are so glad we did. If you like wildlife, this is the place for you.
