Truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at: enormous, clean, spacious room and bathroom, bottled water available every day, amazing views over the former Olympic Village, and very friendly staff, plus perfectly located next to (connected even!) to the exhibition centre, where I was spending most of my days.

A great place to stay to visit the great wall and experience a peaceful Chinese village. The entrance to the great wall is just a short walk. This section of the great wall is so quiet that we have the whole place to ourselves. It is also not very restored so you get to see some of the original wall. They also cooked fresh food from their garden for us. I have been to Beijing twice and did all the major tourist spots. I have to say staying here and hiking the wall in peace is my best Beijing experience.

Location was great. Cleaning staff was very good and honest. Aircon worked well in our room but not in our friend's luxury room.

Big room, toilet and shower separated inside the bathroom, chinese luxury hotel with great amenities like the indoor pool, sauna etc. Friendly and helpful staff, close to Forbidden City and a metro station and small shops nearby. Interesting neighbourhood for car lovers with shops from Ferrari, Rolls Royce, McLaren and others.

Felt luxurious, lovely room, comfortable beds, lovely large shower, and very quiet. Also our daughter loved all the lovely books and products available to browse/buy in reception.

Everything is great! The hotel is Luxury

The hotel was very modern and was luxurious. The staff were very helpful in booking taxis, giving recommendations (food, tours, beauty treatments etc). Special thanks to Will Wang who helped us in booking a lot of stuff! The hotel is a short walk away from the main Wangfujing street which was very helpful and a station (National Art Museum) is right next to the hotel, which is very convenient. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Modern, clean, large rooms with very comfortable beds. Good gym facilities and swimming pool. Breakfast is very good with lots of Asian and western options. Location excellent as 10 minutes on foot or shuttle to the airport and subway to Beijing centre. My last stay was overbooked, so was upgraded, which was a wonderful, luxury experience.

This is a well run Hutong Hotel, located in a small village adjacent to the Great Wall. David is a super host, the room was totally clean and the courtyard is a very nice place to hang out.

Amazing location for a quiet retreat yet very close to all the fun and exciting views of Gubei Wtown. The hiking park near the village provide astonishing views of the Great Wall and breathtaking sights of the mountains. The bathtub facing the glass wall is a luxurious addition to the four poster bed and high ceilings. Homemade breakfast tailored to your taste was delicious
