A recently renovated villa set in Breganzona, Horatius home features a garden. This villa offers free private parking, a lift and free WiFi. We had unique opprtunity to be first guest at Horatius home☺️ Thank you so much to Virginia for welcoming us. Everything was perfect, the most confortable bed, every detail is planned in advance. It’s a 2 floor villa, feels a lot of space. Breathtaking view to mountains from room, bathroom (!) and terrase! Kitchen is full equiped, there was everything for breakfast. Newborhood is very quet, near horses and in 10 min cows. For transport, we took taxi to get to city center, also can be bus, stop is near. Great escape from busy center but still be near.

Set in Carabietta, Antica torre del castello Casa Ceresiana is a recently renovated accommodation, 7.4 km from Lugano Station and 10 km from Exhibition Center Lugano. Very clean and cozy. Old building (it dates back to 13th century) with modern interior. It is in a quite and tranquil area. Parking is nearby. If you travel with car there are plenty of food choices within few kilometers (on the other side of the lake). The house is so close to the lake - you see it from the windows and when you open the front door, the view is beautiful. Unfortunately it was raining heavily when we arrived and when we were leaving so we could not enjoy a walk. The hosts were very polite, they were waiting for us and gave us a tour of the house, explained how to turn on the heating if needed and gave us an extra blanket. We got a bottle of wine as a gift and chocolate for the morning coffee. The only issue is that we stayed just for one night on our way home - I would spent more time there as the house and the area are really beautiful.

It is a good sized house, comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is remote which we loved as given us time to relax, however close enough to shops etc

The location is very good for exploring the area (by car), both Lugano and Locarno are within a reasonable distance, and there are many great hikes to choose from. Even better, if you happen to visit during the autumn, on the hill directly across the road you can collect chestnuts and mushrooms. We also had a chance to check out the built-in safe room (bunker), which served as bicycle storage during our stay! The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large fridge for those who cook for themselves.

An amazing stay that I’ll never forget! The host was warm and welcoming, and everything was just perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Offering a garden and garden view, Casa di vacanza in Capriasca ( Lugano ) is situated in Bidogno, 14 km from Lugano Station and 14 km from Exhibition Center Lugano. Excellent location for spending mountain time. Very good accommodation for the Scenic Trail run on 24 June.

Located in Lavena Ponte Tresa and only 12 km from Lugano Station, Casa Tiziana provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. One of the nicest and most welcoming places we’ve ever stayed! Tiziana and her daughter Giorgia went out of there way to do everything to make this the perfect stay, including providing a well-stocked fridge on arrival. After a long journey through the mountains a cold beer was brilliant!
