Built in 1750, the Ofenhaus was originally used for baking bread and is situated next to the owner's farm house 1 km from the centre of Murten. It was transformed into a modern studio in 2013 and offers free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchenette. The flat was really amazing and nice to have 2 little terraces! Very conveniently located next to the beautiful village.

The patio was large and well furnished, so we sat outside with our drinks watching the boats sailing on the lake. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed for a nice stay. Restaurants, groceries, and bakeries were just a short drive into the beautiful old town. Our hosts were kind and extremely gracious. We would be very happy to stay again!

The kitchen is very well equipped. We absolutely loved the breathtaking views from the house. It is a beautiful village and the Swiss owners taking care of the house are wonderful and extremely helpful. All the information on great walks, interesting villages, museums, etc. is present in the house and we could ask questions any time we wanted. In short, top accomodation and location!
