What a brilliant place to stay. Part communal living, part casual resort, part family-style retreat, we were delighted by the subtle touches and care that staff provided in our too-brief stay. Large, spacious, comfortable room, with welcoming bed and exquisite pillows; an oversized bathroom with great shower. Lovely balcony beneath shaded trees. And the extras: we came home from a day of exploring to find our room tided, clothing we had hung over a chair rail on the balcony to dry hung neatly on a drying rack that had escaped our view; bedding neatened and sleeping attire folded and left atop the duvet. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but used the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to prepare an evening meal for a break from expensive and mediocre Swiss cuisine in the area, which was a welcome break. We also prepared our own breakfast in the morning before departure on the last day. Quiet, comfortable, extremely reasonably priced - we highly recommend a stay.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Erlenbach im Simmental, Swiss Mountain-Valley View Lodge features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. Anna was the perfect hostess as she met us up on arrival and oriented us to this fabulous home. Every custom detail made us feel like we were in a Swiss dream . The bedroom doors are custom and built in to walls with artistic doors and original thresholds. Love love love this property and we had relaxing wonderful days here.

Bätzenboden Stöckli 1375A is set in Wengen, 9.3 km from Mount Eiger, 19 km from First, and 33 km from Staubbach Falls. Property was fantastic!!! No complaints at all! Very comfortable and modern. Excellent views.

And it truly isn’t an exaggeration to say that the views ARE gorgeous!
