Charles was great during the game drive. Awesome guide. We asked him to show us a leopard. He showed us a leopard. We got some great takes of lions almost killing a baby tender hippo. Maybe next time we'll be lucky. The chef was also great. And of course Tshiamo too. That dessert was so good. Totally worth the price of the whole dinner. Service and attention were on point.

Superb view from the riverside apartments (they call them villas): Chobe river with Namibia on the opposite shore, hipopotamuses, BIRDS Game safaris with competent guides Nearby (5 min walk) to ATM's, Nando chicken restaurant, Shoprite store Free late check out and airport transportation (noon) Pool for the kids Friendly staff
It’s set in the most wonderful location and provides some real luxury for a stay in the African bush
Stay here in one of the Chobe river front villas just for the view! On the 1st afternoon we had a herd of elephants with young in front of our balcony for over an hour. On the 2nd night we watched 3 adult hippos with 2 babies feeding right next to the protective fence in front of our balcony. It was incredible - better & closer than what we saw on the our paid safaris in Botswana and Kruger. Villas were clean and spacious.
The location of the family villas direct to the Chobe River was very nice, the apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms quite big and the staff very friendly and helpful. They even baked a birthday cake for our son on his birthday! We enjoyed our stay in the villas very much.
Loved the location right on the Chobe river and a short drive to Chobe national park. Our river facing room, was clean, luxurious and comfortable with all the amenities needed for our stay. The food and drinks were a treat but the best part of our stay was the lodge staff (Martin, Dekatso, Innocent) and our guide, Jack. They went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay and the best Chobe bush experience. They are the true gems of the lodge and the highlight of our stay at Jackalberry Chobe. Would rate this lodge 15 out of 10.
