Bedroom was comfortable and also spacious. Bathroom was nice enough, although we had a few issues, it was clean and the shower was good. Nice balcony with a hammock- lots of birds and monkeys to spot from your room which is really nice. Air con in bedroom was good and also comes with a strong fan for living areas. I picked pousada Halai randomly mainly to escape the Carnaval confusion in Salvador. I was pleasantly surprised by the location, Gamboa, at Morro de São Paulo but very pleased with the Halai pousada. Alllesandra, the proprietor, was extremely congenial, helpful, and efficient as well as her staff. And, the beaches are quite good surrounded by greenery with a quaint village of friendly locals and cantinas.
Paradise! It's on a remote part of the island, with their own transportation to the village, taxi also available. It's very comfortable and the restaurant has a wide variety of options all day long. The staff is very sweet and caring for your stay. The pool, beach facilities, kids club, all great! Beds were comfortable and room very spacious, and they provide anti-moskito things if needed. Complimentary welcome fruits. We were in a special trip with family and friends and we all had a blast!

It' a great place, with a beautiful view and a very nice and helpful crew. Even thought it's only a 3 minutes walk from the village center, it's nicely quiet and you have peace. Very recommendable. No doubts, it's my choice for the next visit in Morro de SP.

The beach and the pool are amazing. The room is very comfortable. Great breakfast. Shuttle to the village is a plus. The hotel is very clean both the rooms and the external areas.
Right on the beachfront, lovely breakfast variety, spacious comfortable and clean rooms and above all - an amazing host, Carlos, who makes it feel like your home. The beach itself is lovely and so much quieter than the popular spots in Morro, the perfect getaway to escape the crowds!
Great location, near to the boat dock, Toca do morcego restaurant, Tirolesa, Village and a little walk to the beach. Staff were super polite, ocean view room with a taking breath view.
The villa pepouze is an incredible place that is absolutely worth a visit, very clean and very friendly. Great location: between Gamboa beach and beaches 2 and 3 and 10 minutes from the centre. The host, Damien, who speaks French, English, Spanish and Portuguese was very welcoming and friendly. He recommended us several places to visit. All in all a great experience, I highly recommend it.
