Everything was well planned, and no details were spared. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The place is very private, no one to disturb the quiet. For dog owners, it might be good to know that the garden is not fenced in, but it was not a problem for us as we do not let our dog unattended. We found the restaurants, shops, cable car and bus stations at a convenient walking distance. The local transport is also good so it is worth leaving the car at the property and taking local transport to visit all the lakes and other cities around.

Emanuela's home exceeded all our expectations, we could never even dream of a place like this. First of all Emanuela is an exceptional host, responsive, communicative, pleasant, she attended to all our needs before we even asked for anything because she is so thoughtful and caring. Our daughter was celebrating her Birthday and so Emanuela surprised us with a Birthday table for her, including fresh flowers, candles, custom made gifts (for all three of our kids), chocolate, sweets and a personal greeting card - it was very touching, (photos attached)! The house is beautifully designed, with many decorative features and details that give it a romantic rustic feeling. The Countryhouse has a big panoramic window that brings Emanuela's enchanting garden inside, the garden, as the house is full of cosy spots to sit in, birdhouses, a feeding station for squirrels, a place to make a bonfire and so much more. We saw deers near the garden, many birds and squirrels. Emanuela's home is equiped with everything we needed to cook as we liked and also an amazing collection of the most beautiful cups, mugs and plates, we felt like royalty. The sauna was a pampering and relaxing touch to the house, with serine music and soft lights. Emanuela's home is well suited for vacation with kids and also as a romantic get away. The Countryhouse is conveniently located 40 min from Salzburg and Hallstatt and very close to Attersee lake.

The house is quite new and everything is well-built and nicely decorated. We greatly enjoyed the outside table to watch sunsets and the horses that graze next door. The sauna was a treat and the beds were comfortable with great fluffy pillows. The location was quite central for reaching places in Salzkammergut and Gertrude showed us a wonderful hike right from the house up a mountain. She was very helpful and gave other good suggestions for things to do. It is a bit challenging to get to the house since Google maps tells you to take roads meant for small 4x4s and even the main road is single lane only, but we quickly got used to it. A very memorable and wonderful stay!
