Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Experiencing the village life was a bonus. In our room i didn't expect running water as i thought they still struggle with water. We did self catering. Dinner time we ate together with the host family traditional food. We had a lovely stay. The guest house is next to main road so you wont get lost.
On the banks of the mighty Zambesi afross a large Island.
Great proximity not too far out from the town and falls. Great breakfast and pizza and the most beautiful sunset cruise, although expensive for an African, it was really fabulous. The meals include the waiter's tip.
Try the chocolate Gateau!
Stayed in lovely clean room in the adventure village.
One can also walk next door to David Livingstone lodge and spend some time there as well.
The place was super clean and calm. If you like calm places and without much noise, that's the place for you. a retreat place where I would love to come back to. the staff is really nice and available to help. the room is simple but spacious and with soap, towels and fridge provided.
Breakfast is provided and is also good.
What a great stay. We unfortunately only had two nights here, but were immediately impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the Muke Village residents. Alex was an incredibly friendly, kind and ambitious host who gave us an insight into Zambian life. There is a school next to the guest house and we were even allowed to attend lessons and spend time with the children. We will definitely return - probably even as volunteers - as we felt very comfortable and gained an authentic insight into Zambian culture.
Everything! The resort was relaxing, comfortable and luxurious. The pool, restaurant and bar were great and the staff was amazing! Set along the Zambezi river, this resort was just everything and more.
This place is in the middle of a village, remote and isolate. It is more a glamping experience than luxury accommodation. if you are looking for a bush experience, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place for you. we were not prepared for that, but the staff is very friendly and they will try to meet your requests were possible.
