Hartford House is one of the most luxurious and special visits we as a family had in a long time. The main house has been beautifully renovated. The food is world-class. A memorable visit on a working stud farm to which we definitely will return.
We visited Hartford for our last couples holiday before we have our first baby, and it did not disappoint! Chef Justin and Mandisi took care of us for most of our stay, and made it so special. Loads of attention to detail, special accommodations, and making the extra effort to make it the most luxurious trip.
We ate so well, we were absolutely spoiled. The rooms are beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere was so welcoming. Would highly recommend a visit!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Hartford House!!It was the epitome of style, luxury eloquence and magnifence all rolled into one. The food was sublime. Staff were friendly and attentive!! Breakfast was excellent and generous and I loved the enclosed verandah where we ate.
I thought the 4 course dinner was exceptional quality , beautifully presented and served . I loved the informal context but the beautifully laid tables and flowers and sense of abundance in everything.
Our room was beautifully appointed , with lovely attention to detail. And the towels were hot and scented - what luxury !
