An absolutely stunning home, spacious and beautifully designed. The location, right on the Crocodile River, was incredible. Corné went out of her way to accommodate our needs - we held a small wedding celebration while there and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was also very helpful and unobtrusive. We appreciated having a generator - made the loadshedding quite tolerable. We enjoyed several game drives with Jesse - she was excellent but the cats still eluded us.

The house has a fabulous view and is very well equipped. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Saw so much wildlife just from the patio. Our family had a wonderful time together.

Wonderful terrace overlooking the river and park, yet only 10 minutes drive from Malelane gate. Owners and staff are extremely accommodating - providing early morning packed breakfasts and wonderful home-cooked evening meals. Rooms are luxurious and spacious, with secure parking on-site.
Upgraded to a luxury room with excellent view of the Crocodile River & wildlife coming down to the river. Dinner of average quality, buffet breakfast good & plenty of it. Room comfortable with good facilities although showing it's age.
The lodge is really beautiful. The rooms have everything you could possibly need for a luxury stay. Amazing attention to detail. The manager is great. She goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The view of the river and animals are perfect.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed to an immaculate luxury room overlooking the Crocodile River. There is a great deal of attention to detail that made the stay very pleasant. The background of chirping birds and hippos make you feel at one with nature. We especially enjoyed the meals, they are beyond delicious. We had a great time on the game drive, which is worth the early morning start. We also enjoyed a relaxing massage at Dzombo Spa. Overall we had an amazing stay, would definitely go back in a heartbeat!
Never ate breakfast, room was very clean,however the surrounding buildings,dark and very basic,pool not clean and gardens very neglected. The towels were beautiful soft and very luxurious.
We upgraded to the guesthouse at Visarend and had an amazing stay. The large room with private pool and bathroom with built in closet exceeded all our expectations. The host was very friendly. Common areas were well equiped.
