The peace and tranquility as well as the creative personal touches and moreish treats to even erecting a Christmas tree to make the festive season memorable! Our hostess went above and beyond the call of duty to assist with a generator after storm damage disrupted the local power supply. The games room with pool table was a hit with our boys and perfect for observing the bountiful bird life in the garden.

Superb views from the 'Studio' cottage that we stayed in. Well equipped self-catering unit.The owner and staff were very attentive. Maria welcomed and showed us around and even left lemons from a tree on the plot and fresh eggs from neighboring chickens. We had a lovely starry night, followed by a clear day with an eagle sighting from the balcony. The second day was a misty and rainy morning , which made the fireplace inside a welcome treat. Good Wifi and Vodacom reception. Too cold to swim, but I'll certainly be back to try the pool.

It's the small things that matters. The luxurious dressing gowns, complimentary sherry, chocolates, and fresh flowers. There is fresh milk in the fridge for coffee or tea. One of my favorite guest houses.
Cosy log cabin that lives up to its name, stayed in last cabin and we had wonderful view of the village and mountain from our bedroom. Cabin was beautifully decorated and felt very private with everything we needed to stay comfortably, the hosts were helpful but not intrusive.
Absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to be back as soon as possible. The Honey House was absolutely gorgeous for solo writer’s retreat, the Noka Spa was the best massage and full body treatment I’ve ever had! The river and whole estate is a joy and honor to be able to explore! Just book!
