The house and the cottage are beautifully decorated and super well equipped. It would have been lovely to stay longer and enjoy exploring the area as there is much to offer. Our host was readily available if needed and the check in instructions were very easy. The houses are extremely clean and it was perfect for a family group to book both the house and the cottage together. Air conditioning was appreciated too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the comfortable, well-equipped Dreamcatcher cottage. Our stay gave us the chance to unwind and immerse ourselves in a slower-paced, simpler way of life.
A few crumbling cottages, makeshift animal pens and the obvious challenge of rural life added to what was a unique and thought-provoking experience.
The view of the mountain from the cottage is breathtaking and a drive through the Tradouw Pass to Barrydale for lunch is highly recommended.

The hotel is in the middle of all the village's attractions and on the main road. The room was very clean, beautiful decor with an extra size bed with quality bedding. The price included a great breakfast, and they are pet friendly! Highly recommended

She clearly has put thought into every detail: The apartment is furnished with care and consideration, and the space is welcoming and comfortable. Birdsong's setting in the charming village of Barrydale makes it ideal for a country escape within relatively easy reach of Cape Town. We found the experience restorative and relaxing, yet there is lots to do and see in the vicinity, whether you're exploring on foot or cycling, or taking trips further out by car.
It is the most luxurious spacious house. Ideal for big groups as enough rooms with ample bathrooms and the best thing is that the lay out is such that you can go for a snack without bothering anyone. We went in summer but I think it will be amazing in summer - the patio has a huge table with fairy lights. The host made sure my kids had all the balls and frisbees needed to keep them busy. Next to the villa is the hotel that has fresh bread everyday. And the main restaurant strip is 3 minutes walk from the house
Breakfast was Excellent. Room was luxurious, right on the road so we did not have to go looking for it, sat outside with our dogs for a hour or two with no problem's thank you
Sanbona is absolute paradise. We could not have had a better 4 days here. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, they have thought of everything and it makes for a truly luxurious experience.
Attention to theme detail in rooms offered an alternate experience in each, lots of time, and passion has gone into the finest detail. Breakfast was served in a " grand dining room." Quiteness of the village.
