Location was great to explore both sides of Mt Desert Island. We were close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia to be a short drive but far enough away from the chaos of traffic and parking. The home was well furnished and the kitchen had more than what we expected!

Our family enjoyed an October vacation visiting Acadia using this house as a home base. It’s a great location in the middle between Bar Harbor and the south part of the park. The house is decorated just the right amount - enough to make it feel like a home but not so much that you feel like there’s no room for you. The dressers, desks, and night stands had space for our things. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s lots of books, puzzles, and games to enjoy while you’re there. The outdoor space is amazing and peaceful. We enjoyed time outside on the swings, the hammock and by the water.
