It is beautifully equipped with everything you could possibly need. All the furnishings (beds/sofas etc) are superbly comfortable. There were only 2 of us but it’s perfectly well equipped for a couple of families with kids, especially the downstairs area which has been perfectly set up for the kids while the adults are upstairs. The bathrooms are wonderfully spacious and the showers are delightful (we are English, we are used to appalling plumbing). The pool is lovely and there are thoughtful things like deckchairs and towels available to use at the house.
We have had such a good time here that we just don’t want to leave. If we make it back to Texas (and here is hoping we do) then we are coming back to this house.

Location was excellent. I wanted to be within walking distance to Rockport Beach and the Art District. Rockport was celebrating their annual SeaFair festival with all awesome and local vendors. The property is currently under new management. I met the new owners and they were very polite and very proud of their Inn. We will definitely stay at the Village Inn again.
The location is great. Super close to everything. There is a private fishing pier and a bait stand nearby. It is not far from Rockport Beach. It is right next to Fulton Mansion. There are many restaurants nearby.
