Stayed for my husband's birthday week (he hasn't been to Lake George since he was a teen) and it was my first time. Thomas was able to accommodate our goldendoodle as well - and we all had a blast. All the essentials we needed were in the cottage, we had plenty of rest, and I was able to work at the same time. If you needed anything, town was about 10-15 minute drive away. Plenty of sightseeing, restaurants, and shopping.

Very convenient to all that Lake George offers, but away from the crowds and congestion of the Village on spacious, sunlit, nicely maintained grounds on a hillside above the lake. Accommodations are rustic, with roomy porches,patio furniture and grills overlooking a sweeping lawn.

The property was well maintained, the room decor was updated and clean, and quiet in regard to other guests. The pool was great for a late afternoon swim on a hot day and location was quiet and short drive to village.
We loved that this was beachfront. We also loved that we could grill there. And it was easy to walk through the village and leave our car behind. The view for the Thursday night fireworks was excellent!
