Our stay at Lions Villa in Zanzibar was exceptional! From the get-go, Paola provided very useful information about the villa, its services, and the island, making our trip planning seamless. The villa itself was impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and felt just like home.
We made use of several services, including a private chef and island excursions, all of which were easily planned and precisely met our expectations. A special mention to our driver, Mohamed, who was fantastic and accommodated all our requests with a smile. Additionally, Mr. Davies took care of all our on-site requests, ensuring a smooth stay—he was truly fantastic.
Overall, Lions Villa is a gem in Zanzibar, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Carol is an amazing host! She greeted us with a warm welcome and handed over the keys at check-in, always making sure we had everything we needed. Anytime we had a question or needed a tip for exploring Kiwengwa, she was quick to respond. The place itself? Super clean, peaceful, and cozy—plus, it's just a 2-minute walk to the beach! Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Fiona. Right on the beach. Nice Pool. Excellent host and the covered area on stilts over the beach was the perfect place to spend a few relaxing hours.
The villa is modern and has a lot of space, bedrooms and bathrooms are really nice. Same for the pool, great. The staff did everything possible to make us feel comfortable, we also hired the private chef that cooked for us everyday. They also organized a bonfire the last day, beautiful experience.The beach in front of the villa is almost private and it's a great place for long relaxing walks on the beach. In the morning you can admire beautiful sunrises.
The property was overlooking the sea. It was quiet and in a village which was away from the tourists and crowd. This was perfect for us as we liked the secluded area. Overall, good Wi-Fi, good staff who are personal and non corporate type. From the time we checked in all the way till the check out, we were looked after from help with renting a car, to taxi and good tips around the island.
The Villa was great and the place was really quiet. That makes holiday more relaxed. Good privacy. The staff is friendly and serves well enough, can organize in case you need something. Pool and a garden feels romantic.
