Surrounded by nature. It's a 5 minuets walk from the village center, but you wouldn't know it once you are in the property. Cabins are charming. Love the family room. Very spacious.
Located in Shuishe Village, my family liked being on the quieter side of the lake with the ease of being the bus main hub. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. There was a roof patio that my daughter used to sunbathe in relative privacy. The room was very clean.
Recently stayed at this BnB (民宿) and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were immaculate and offered a comfortable retreat after a day out at 日月潭. What truly set this place apart was the personal touch from the owner, who kindly organized a bicycle tour for us early in the morning, allowing us to explore the area's beauty like locals. To top it off, the breakfast was delightful, featuring a variety of fresh and tasty options. Highly recommend for a personal and memorable stay!
A luxurious hotel in Sun Moon Lake. It is definitely an older building but it has modern furnishings inside. The breakfast buffet was decent but had limited options (Taiwanese or basic Western). It's attached to Shuishe Pier so you can walk out for a beautiful view of the sunrise/sunset.
Nice hotel, just next to the pier, which makes it easy to take ferries to other villages on the lake. Also next to some trails and at walking distance from the cable car. Some restaurants around (closing early). The town is busy during the day but very quiet at night. Room was of a good size, staff is helpful and breakfast is alright. The hotel also got a parking lot nearby in case someone is going there by car.
I liked everything about Laurel Villa B&B. The host is so professional, accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are modern and very clean, also plenty of power points. Taiwan style buffet breakfast was amazing. I can't fault this place at all and will have very fond memories of my stay.
Lovely location, right near the rope way, and Ita Thao village and the wharf. Beautiful path next to the lake to work or ride a bike. Tall trees and lush undergrowth make it charming. The chalet we stayed in was quiet and partially hidden by trees. Breakfast is institutional but pleasant enough.
Staff couldn’t be nicer - although they did not speak much english, this was nothing google translator couldn’t handle and they were super kind all along. The breakfast in their well groomed dining area is something. The food and the ambience are as if you are within an animation. Although the rooms face the street, the village is dead quiet at night. It is within walking distance from the funicular leading to the native village.
