Fantastic house with great amenities. The host provided us with so many extra add ons that made our stay so comfortable - bread, drinks, snacks. We loved how spacious and confortable our appartement was. The view is amazing and the sea is less than 2 min walk. We were lucky to come at a low season and really enjoyed our stay despite the Taroko park being closed due to the recent earthquake and typhon. The host was of great help arranging our commute while we did not have a car.

Very cute and modern in a lovely quaint little village that is a short drive from the main city. There are beaches and nice parks in this area. You should bear in mind that this is a "self service" style, we barely saw any staff at all. This was okay for us but could be worth considering. Local coffee/breakfast spots do not open until 10am.
The B&B is run by a nice family, who cares about their guests' comfort. I liked the small luxury of always having some fruit prepared in the evening.
Special mention for being so calm and helpful in the earthquake aftermath, made us feel much safer!
Amazing location - close to the center, but beachfront, nearby Dongdamen night market. Room was spacious, the view from the window spectacular. Very friendly staff - family owned hotel.

Free city bikes to borrow to go into the city which is a nice add on. Bikes could use some servicing.
The view was great, everything was even better than what they showed in pics. The staff were very helpful as we were there during typhoon. They can help to book cabs if you travelling out from the villa.
Location is good, it is located along a main street, where you could shop and eat. Room is spacious enough and clean. The experience is more homely than luxurious, but you are getting exactly what you paid for.
All windows back wall view into forest was really nice. modern bathroom décor and size was comfortable and luxurious. size of hotel room overall was a nice change from the unknowingly tiny hotel rooms at previous hotels we booked.
Our stay at 1999 B&B in Hualien was delightful! The accommodation was comfortable, and the highlight was the inclusion of a bathtub, adding a luxurious touch to our experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. Central location in a quiet street. The cleanliness and attention to detail further enhanced our satisfaction.
