Kayhan Cave Villa, hotel in Urgup

Kayhan Cave Villa is a detached holiday home with a garden, set in Urgup in the Central Anatolia Region Region. The property features views of the city and is 700 metres from Nikolos Monastery.

We had the pleasure of staying with an exceptional host during our trip. Their hospitality was outstanding, as they personally greeted us and provided a detailed explanation of all the facilities available. They patiently answered all our questions, ensuring that we had a clear understanding of everything. What impressed us even more was their ability to secure a hot air balloon ride for us at a significantly lower price than what the local travel agents were offering. The cave villa we stayed in was truly unique, with its underground floor that added a charming cave-like atmosphere. The modern bathroom with fancy lights added a touch of luxury to our stay. Overall, our host's warmth, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring our comfort made our experience truly memorable. We highly recommend staying with this host for an exceptional and enjoyable trip.

This hotel is gorgeous and very authentic. It’s located in a small village, away from the mass tourism. Which is why it was perfect for our romantic getaway. The staff was super friendly and helpful, also with organising activities in the area. We stayed in the Roman King Suite, which is a magnificent room with hamam and jacuzzi area. Very charming and spacious. Would totally recommend. The pool area is super cozy and peaceful.

In a peaceful village 15 minutes away from the tourist hub of Goreme. The hotel is small and personal. The main benefit is the warmth and friendliness and great assistance given by Eren, the proprietor of the property. Great value.

This was an absolute gem and felt like a friendly home to return to after each amazing Cappadocia excursion. The house simply had every single thing we needed for a self-catering stay. With 42°C temperatures, the cool house was a welcome retreat. They neighbourhood felt like normal people just going about their lives, but you are just around the corner from the town centre - with a view of the Ortahisar castle from the enclosed balcony. We wouldn't have wanted to experience this lovely area any other way.

A very special experience to stay in a cave. It was a nice cool place to retreat from the heat. Good views from the terrace. We booked a couple of tours through the hotel which was easy and good value. Everyone was polite and helpful. They even helped by booking a very good value transfer from the airport to our hotel in Istanbul when we left. Great restaurants within walking distance. Nice friendly relaxed village.

It is best value for money around this part of Cappadocia. Nicely located, luxury appointed rooms that are actually built in the rock in the 350 year old villa that is absolutely gorgeous. Terrace and the view, the sheer tranquillity of the place is amazing. Staff and owner are extremely helpful and kind. Breakfast was very nice, try omelet with mushrooms. Also the hotel can book your for balloon ride or any other attraction you could desire.
