Lovely, family run place with a restaurant and cafe. They even catered for my partner being vegan. Peaceful location, within nature and an easy escape. Comfortable bed. Can get cold in the evenings.

I was so stupid that I booked a house a day later than I arrived. and found out about it at 5 pm when I got to the hotel. Can you imagine my disappointment?!? good thing the owner of the hotel provided accommodation for the same money a day earlier and agreed with booking.com. the staff is quiet and helpful. great and unique cappuccino and matcha latte. dinner was prepared from the best products. breakfast was hearty.
Believe me, this night was one of the best in my life.

The bus resort is really unique. It’s in the middle of beautiful rural Thailand but still has everything you could need. The views from the balcony in the evening were incredible.
Nuicy and Ulli are some of the kindest people we met in our 2 months in Thailand. They took us round the local area to see some sights and even cooked dinner for us one night (which was delicious). We really enjoyed spending time with them.
We almost didn’t book this place as it’s a little far from Chiang Mai and so new, but we’re so glad we did. This is has been the best stop on our trip so far and hope to come back soon!

Bougain Villas have very large stylish, comfortable rooms set in absolutely breathtaking location in the north of the town. Surrounded by fields with horses and cows, and with a stunning view of the mountain it’s truly a paradise. The family run business takes great care in personal customer service. Even bringing paracetamol and congee to my wife who was having a fever. The pool is great for lengths and the adjoining restaurant can deliver to the room and is very good. Great value for money.
The property was beautiful and calm. You could watch the sunset from your bed!

We used the bikes available for free which were perfect for getting around the village.
The house, location and view is absolutely stunning and the house has so much character making it such a brilliant retreat from city life. It's amazing to fall asleep to the sounds of nature and wake up to incredible views. Nung, who looks after the house is the nicest man and very helpful. The breakfast was better than i expected too with tasty fried rice, eggs, cakes, fruit every day.
Idyllic peaceful setting and a wonderfully comfortable, spacious and well equipped bungalow. On seeing this we immediately extended our planned visit by an extra 3 days. With delicious, varied and filling breakfasts and dinners (with beer) included in the price Wes Village allowed us to relax completely. The staff led by Soi were ever friendly, helpful and efficient. Scooter hire also available to explore Chiang Dao.
The location is exactly what I wanted, remote enough but still close to the town. Able to hit the hot springs and hike within a 10-minute drive or 20-minute walk. Amazing authentic Thai breakfast with fresh papaya, banana & dragon Fruit! Thong was a great host and always had fun activities planned like heading to the local market or heading into the village for dinner & dancing.
