We booked two nights at the Villa Tha Maphrao either end of our Thailand holiday and would happily have stayed longer. From the pick up at the airport to arrival at the oasis of calm and tranquility that is the Villa Tha Maphrao everything is geared towards the comfort and relaxation of the guests.
We chose VTM due to its proximity to the airport but were soon to realise it is so much more. Peter and his wife Oi are two of the warmest hosts you could imagine. Their raison d'etre is ensuring their guests feel at home and we certainly did. Our stay at the beginning of the holiday provided us with a welcome opportunity to rest and recoup after a long flight, similarly at the end of our holiday we returned and enjoyed our last couple of nights relaxing before our early flight home.
Peter is a knowledgeable and warm host who gets the balance just right - he goes out of his way to meet the needs of his guests but in a subtle way so you do not feel overwhelmed and your privacy is maintained. One evening Peter dropped us off at a fabulous local fish restaurant, the food was superb and excellent price point. We also ate at a traditional Thai beach restaurant that we would never have found ourselves. Oi is quite possibly the sweetest host you will ever meet, she goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need and cooks fabulous Thai food and amazing breakfasts including platters of fruit, home made yoghurt, coconut pancakes and freshly baked cakes and banana bread. Oi is always on the go, working tirelessly to ensure that everywhere is spotlessly clean for her guests, our rooms were the cleanest of anywhere we stayed in Thailand with crisp white bed linemen changed daily.
The pool is just perfect - clean and ideal temperature for cooling dips and nighttime swims under the stars.

Very very nice place. Great little touches with the towels and bedding. Location is very good and is a quiet area. Also had Netflix and YouTube on the tvs. Great WiFi.

The villas were so beautiful, with exquisite woodwork in every room and beautiful scenery and swimming pools. The breakfasts were delicious, and the environment was relaxing and inspiring. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful too
I had my wedding at the villa nearby, and most of our guests stayed there. They all loved it. Great location, service, beautiful beachfront. Recommended to put your guests here if you are getting married nearby!!
An excellent excellent luxurious resort located on beautiful Natai beach, which only has 2-3 other resorts/villas close by. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful. The pool and beach were perfect. Food was also excellent - good value considering not much nearby. Breakfast buffet was also very good. I would highly recommend staying here versus going into Phuket Island.
Luxury at its best. We had the apartment with 10qm private pool which was great. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had Pa as our support almost 24 hours available via WhatsApp. She booked everything we asked for and organised anything we needed (dentist appointment). The beach is brilliant., so clear and private.
The villa was totally private with private pool. The pool was quite decent size but was cold. overall the place is very nice like a piece of heaven on the earth. it is fantastic for people who like quite environment. Hotel is middle of no where. No bars shops round the hotel.
The villa with private pool was delightful. We were very impressed with the happy and lovely staff and the restaurant food was amazing. Everything we asked for we got. Service impeccable!
Excellent hotel and service is fantastic. The team were really helpful and also arranged out trips to the Phi Phi Islands as well as James Bond Island. Both trips were amazing and thanks to the staff for that. We will be very happy to come back. The Villa is amazing - huge with private pool and all the amenities you need for a quiet and private stay.
