The property was immaculate, very cosy and comfortable. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen had pots , cutlery, plates and everything which made it possible for us to prepare our own meals comfortably. There was 24 hour electricity and free WiFi. There was also hot water. We also liked that there was a pool and we enjoyed spending sometimes in the pool. We also enjoyed spending some time on the hammock that was in the garden near the pool. There was also a baby cot bed. The dinning room was spacious and cosy. The bedrooms were well equipped. We also liked the fact that there was a helper present during at the accommodation, who helped us with everything we needed, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay at the accommodation comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you very much sir for all you did for us and for your kindness.

The property is in a very remote interiors area, its an off-road drive for almost 2-4km with no street lights especially if you are driving in the night and there are no sign boards. Even on the property there is no mention of the African Villa etc..
The Guard was very helpful but only if you can speak in French, I was lucky my collogue could speak in French.
If booking please either pay in advance or carry cash for your payment as they are no POS machine to swipe at the VILLA and there are no ATM's around, you either have to drive back to the Airport or go into another town to look for an ATM.

Great find an hour up the coast from Dakar. 25 minutes to airport. Wonderful setting and sunsets. Short stroll in quaint villages and tasty inexpensive restaurants. Popenguine is really special. So much so, they’re building a new gigantic presidential palace up the road.
The Villa Serene was located within walking distance of the beach- which was great! Along with the location, the room and the bathroom were very spacious and clean. The villa has a pool that I didn't use, but there were lots of families enjoying it. You can buy breakfast and dinner at the property along with water and soda.
The breakfast was simple but fine.
Staff were pleasant.
Pool seemed fine but it was raining so didn't test.

Location near the sea in a tranquil area and not far from a small fishermen (and goats) village. Interesting and calm. Good for relax at low price. Not luxury, but enough comfort according the paid price. They also have Restaurant and bar service (with beer and other drinks)
We enjoyed our stay in "Villa Serere". The room was well equipped and quiet. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning.
The pool was great and not often frequented, because the vacation season has not yet begun and you could relax well.
