We wanted a small appartment from where we can do some hikes in the High Tatras and it perfectly matched our expectations for three adults. We were OK to drive some 10-20minutes to the start of a hike, so if that is OK for you, go for this appartment,

Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
It was nice quiet place with only village sounds around. The fireplace must be very nice in winter. In the village is just one small pub but they do excellent pizza and burgers. You need to go by car to other places or order taxi which is a bit pricy about 10-15€. The apartment is very comfy and all what you need to make breakfast and sandwiches for hikes even cook dinner (we never done so).
For me this was a good location, close to Big Tatras very easy to go by car and after back.. And village Štrba is small and Quit village with nice surroundings ..
Excellent choice! Very nice location, comfortable beds and room, private large bathroom and kitchen. Quiet place (also with some village sounds;-) I would recommend it anyone for sure. Hopefully, we will come here once again. Fast route to Strebskie pleso and other Slovak mountain resorts.

- Located in a cute little village with character. However, there are limited public transport options with only a few buses (we made it work though :)).Would be perfect if you had a rental car or bike.
- Shower was amazing, hot water and good pressure.
- Kitchen had enough to get by but would love a can opener and a spatula.
