I had two relaxing nights in the cabin. The place is perfect for people who loves the simplistic, slow life with the hint of a nomadic touch. I stayed during winter without any problems. The wooden stove worked perfectly, I didn't even have to wake up to make fire during the night. :)
The place has some basic ingredients for cooking and I was enough lucky to get some unexpected gifts from the owner: his own herbal tea leaves. Miki was exceptionally kind and helpful, and even though it's possible to get to the house without a car (after a hike from the closest town), he took care of me and gave me a generous lift.

We loved the place! Spacious, beautiful, well equiped, with 2 terraces, sauna, garage, bicycles... I couldn't imagine it to be better! And the location was fantastic - kind of magic to live in the old village in the completely new house. Great place for walks by the river, near to the Bohinj lake, so you can go when the crowd is over. After one week of staying there, we regreted we planned the second one in Croatia 😁

This property doest not deserve five stars, but six stars. Clean, modern, with attention to detail, everything worked perfectly. We travel a lot and stay in airbnbs across the world and this was one of the best places we’ve been to. Kitchen is super well equipped. The location is perfect, a quiet road so no noise from bars, hotels or resraurants in the evening, yet a short stroll to the lake. Beds are super comfortable. You have an unlimited supply of towels and bathrobes. The host was responsive and extremely friendly - we arrived to the fridge full of water, soft drinks and sparking wine, what a nice gesture. Overall, highly recommend!

Lovely location in a quiet village, with easy access to walking routes. Supermarket and a few restaurants/ bars in close proximity. The apartment was very well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, WiFi, very comfy bed. Great contact with the owner. Nice little garden with furniture and a parasol, although due to weather we didn't get the chance to use it.
Amazing Stone and wood cottage in a stunning alpine village! I thoughley enjoyed my staff. The young lady who checked me in was super sweet. More like a home stay than a hostel. I could tell alot of love has gone into this hostel to make it a wonderful stay for guests. The place was absolutely spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything you needed to cook after a day of hiking in the mountains.
Location was great for exploring the area. We had a car and like to be self sufficient. It’s a good base. Walking distance to the local village with a couple of bars and restaurants.
When we missed the last bus to the village, Urša from the hostel came and picked us up 🤍 . Thank u so much, also for the peaceful atmosphere inside this beautiful house.

Ursa and Katja are lovely hosts who were very knowledgable about Slovenia and the mountains. Nice location in a quiet village. Walking distance to the small supermarket and a few restaurants. Everywhere clean. Washing machine and dryer available upstairs. Kitchen well equipped. Also rented a mountain bike from the hostel; I think they can also rent via ferrata kit.
Great little appartment in Dovje village, close to several hiking routes to the mountains. Clean, well supplied. The host greated us during arrival and check-out, parking was free in front of the house.
