The house was easy to find, driving from Lublijana. We arrived during a heat wave and the host brought the bed downstairs for us as it was cooler to sleep.The air con kept the place lovely and cool when it was 37 degrees outside! The natural views of mountains were stunning. We saw bats, eagles and a pine martin! The host left Welcome gifts of food &drink for us which was a lovely touch as it was our 20th anniversary. The location was very peaceful and quiet! Supermarket was a 10 minute drive away. On our anniversary we stayed up late and watched lightening bolts surrounding us on the horizon for 3 hours (no rain or thunder) then we saw more than 30 meteorites in the Perseid meteorite shower, which made our whole experience extra special and memorable! We would highly recommend a stay here.

The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling!
The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine.

We use to travel a lot and we've met a lot of good people, but here at Holiday Home Juricko was something special! This hosts are absolutely amazing. They organized for us such a pleasant and comfortable stay. The host met us with home-made wine and pie, fresh baked bread and delicious meats. It felt like dropping back into childhood, when grandparents meet their children with goodies ❤️

It was clean, I liked that there were enough towels (2 big for sauna/hot tub; 3 for a regular usage for each person). Wifi and electricity there feel like luxury. Very pleasant manager of the property, always online. An AC worked in the heating mode as well (plus to the fireplace it was nice-to-have feature).
We used this accommodation to visit Samobor, Zagreb, and Ljubljana, and it was truly excellent for that purpose. There isn't much to see in Brežice, especially in the village where the hotel is located. However, it's important to mention that the owners have organized everything really well. We particularly liked the marble radiators that look like they're from the communist era, but they actually do a fantastic job.
Very peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful nature! Terme Čatež is very close, so kids can have fun during the day, while adults can enjoy calm village atmosphere in the evening and morning.
