My family and I had a wonderful time at Maria's. Everything is really well thought out, spacious and with a cool aesthetic. We especially loved the location. It's slightly away from the village center which makes it feel a bit more secluded and that you have the whole area to yourself. The garden is also great for kids. There's plenty of space to roam around the countryside. Maria is a great host. She greeted us with a shot of horinca and stayed for a chat. She was available anytime we needed something. Another highlight was the recommendation to eat at Tanti Vio's, a local cook, who cooked us a delicious breakfast with ingredients sourced from her own yard. Can't say but nice things about the whole experience. We promised we'll be back soon!

Absolutely nothing to fault at this accommodation! I truly felt like I was in a luxury resort in Thailand, with the dark solid wood furniture and very slick interior. Staff was ever so accommodating and helpful, led by the culturally versed manager, Vigil. Vigil was always responsive to enquiries which was very helpful. The accommodation is on about 20min walk to the city centre. But given the quality of the accommodation, I would hesitate to leave the room in the first place. Oh, and a bonus, they do sell great Romania wines on premise!
The rooms are in houses in the yard of an old farm. Large rooms. The owners also live there. Super nice and helpful family. Very beautiful authentic rural village. A walk here is so much better than a museum. King Charles has two houses in the village. Luckily he wasn't there. I'm afraid that in ten years the village will be flooded with tourists. So go quickly if you don't want to be part of that.
The host was very helpful and easy to reach. If you have any question/requests (extra cleaning, something is missing) just ask him and he's happy to help. The villa itself is very spacious and has everything you may need. There was not much nearby the villa itself but if you have a car it's ok, the town is small (but still cute) and mountains are nearby.
We were impressed by the hospitality of the owner. Very clean and cosy, traditional design. Great location, at the edge of the city in an oasis of greenery and peace, very close to the village museum.
You can have breakfast and dinner at the pension if preferred. Delicious cooking :)
I liked the City Rooms hotel's location and proximity to everything a visitor needs. My assigned room was a luxurious experience. The staff was friendly and attentive (also, there was Anka who worked at the restaurant below the hotel). The hotel management was very responsive and allowed an early check in free of charge. The Internet was fast. My room was warm too (I stayed in early spring (March 30, 2023)).
The place was good, especially for the low price. What I liked most was the staff and food, as I'm not one to focus on luxury or number of stars etc.
The owners' mother is an amazing cook and a really good company. I highly recommend trying some of her traditional dishes, if she's available for cooking.
This one is a gem. For a very low price, you get a sizeable super comfy private room with en suite bathroom, minibar, big bed et cetera. You can have a bit of luxury as a budget traveller, and even breakfast is included! Also friendly and nice staff. Highest marks!
Very nice and helpful staff. Everything is new and clean and the breakfast was delicious, with many homegrown products. The place is conviniently located very close to the village museum and the drive to the city center is 8 minutes long. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.
