The house was fully equipped inside, and everything was clean and tidy. The beautiful, spacious garden featured outdoor seating under a roof and a fantastic playground for children. One can tell that a lot of care and thought was put into making the accommodation look traditional. The village, at the feet of the Fagaras mountains, has an authentic feel to it, despite the many tourist accommodations. The host's care and passion for her accommodation were clearly noticeable throughout our stay. We had breakfast once and it was carefully prepared by the host, with an array of local produce, which was good.
The retreat has a cozy charm and beautiful views to offer. However, guests should be aware of the sulfur-smelling water and the need for occasional heating maintenance, ensuring a comfortable stay.

We stayed here at the end of a day on the Transfagarasan. A beautifully decorated house in a typical Romanian village. Very comfortable beds, good showers and off-street parking. Badminton, chess and other games. We stayed in the summer, but it would also be a lovely cozy hide-away in winter.
The host was extremely responsive, welcoming and helpful.( even arranged us meat from farmers).
The house was authentic and beautiful, the kitchen well equipped. The garden was very big, the people in the village were very friendly.biking around the village was nice, the kids enjoyed the tennis table!
fantastic oasis to chill out, have a bath in the river nearby, cycle with their bicycles etc.; the cottages are nicely designed, clean and sell authentic charme; food can be easily prepared in the common open summer kitchen or ordered in the village; great traditional breakfast (has to be paid extra); the compound invites to socialize with others guests (if you like ...)
A great place to feel and live the traditional Ramania village and house. Dana the house owner gave us good tips about nearby tracks, and helped us with any issues that we had.
