Exceptional value for money. The house has literally everything you will need, fully equipped and it is very comfortable and cozy inside. All pictures correspond to the reality. Stunning view from the balcony both to ocean side and to the mountains. Beautiful wild unguarded beach is in 5 min walking distance. Very nice transport connection to the most popular points of the island because the house is located close to the highway entrance. We enjoyed every minute of staying.

The location was great. It was within walking distance of some very good restaurants and a beach. The hosts were very lovely. They were very kind to make an extra trip back to the house to let us in after we accidentally left the key inside and to bring an extra fan and towels. Very clean. The hostess was very nice and helpful. And the view was spectacular. The town of Maia is out of the way but it is very quiet and relaxed. Driving in the town to get to the apartment is a bit nerve racking the first time. But it is worth it once you are there.

The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. There were everything we needed for our stay. Kitchen equipments, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, and many more things. It is right next to the sea, we couldn't enjoy terrace much due to weather conditions but I am sure it would be great to rest there after discovering wonders of the island. The host was very helpful, she answered any questions we had in a short time. When I go back to Sao Miguel, I would prefer to stay there.

This beautiful and well-equipped apartment is perfectly located for exploring the entire island and strolling around the village. It features a stunning modern bathroom, ample storage space in the bedroom, and a lovely, spacious patio at the back.
The location and views from the villa are unlike anywhere we have seen before. The room was very comfortable and beginning each morning with the wonderful breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day.

Spacious villa with everything needed for a comfortable stay, surrounded by banana trees and pine apple green houses. Especially I liked the ocean pool - perfect spot for a dip into the fresh water. We liked this place very much.
The breakfast was a delicious assortment of breads, yogurt, homemade granola, jams, juice, meat, and cheese. Our view was amazing. I simply did not want to leave the table. Parking is available just down the road from the villa. Beds are comfortable and clean. We especially appreciated an early check in and late check out when my husband began to feel ill. Highly recommend and we would love to visit again. We visited in February and enjoyed the quiet island, don't be scared by the weather.
We loved everything. The villa is wonderful, clean and comfortable. There is everything you could need. Well-equipped kitchen, presence of washing machine and dryer. There is also a barbecue outside.
The hosts were very kind and helpful, they gave us a lot of suggestions of restaurants and points to visit.

We recently stayed at A Villa by The Sea in Vila Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel, and it was amazing! The breakfast was fantastic, with a variety of fresh pastries to start our day. The views of the sea were absolutely stunning, and waking up to the sound of the waves was incredibly peaceful. The room is in the owner's house, so it's not completely isolated, but we felt welcomed. If you're looking for a beautiful retreat, we highly recommend A Villa by The Sea.
