Nice friendly host. The location is good and the house has all you need to spend some time exploring nearby. We even had the fireplace running when we got in. It felt really cosy.

We loved the location of the house. The interior walls are made of granite which makes the house fresh without the need of air conditioned. Also the house is quite spacious. The hosts had a basket with honey, cheese, and coffee waiting for us. The kitchen is well equipped with all it is needed for a conformable stay. The location allows easy access to all hiking trails of Serra da Estrela. One of the best hiking trails starts very near the house and also gives access to a very nice river beach. If you are traveling with pets, the house is also the perfect spot.

Beautiful chale, warm in winter, comfortable, great location, windows overlook the mountains (partly obstructed, but still beautiful views), stunning views in the village, very good restaurants around, some playgrounds, close to Torre. There was a sleigh 🛷 inside, we enjoyed it a lot. I would love to return!
