Nothing was good about the house and the answer of the landlord regarding my review leaves me speechless.
Within our arrival we told the landlord, that we can´t stay in his accommodation, as it was humid and moldy and that we experienced a severe headache and lung problems, after being there for 10 minutes. We normally do not have any health issues. We only experienced them while being in the house and I certainly didn´t tell him, that we were having these health issues because of the climate. We were on Sao Miguel before and Sao Miguel does also have a high humidity, but we didn´t have any health issues threre. We left the accommodation and booked another one on Flores and we didn´t have any problems there at all.
We´ve only spent about 15 minutes in this accommodation before we left, as the situation there was unbearable for us. We didn´t have the time to use anything in the accomodation, especially not the bed. When we entered the house and had a closer look at it´s equipment, the bed clothes were already crumped and looked used and the bed wasn´t properly made. It was only disgusting. Never would we ever have used such a bed. Besides, the bathroom wasn´t properly cleaned and there were signs of mold in the shower, on the toilet holder and in the living room along with ants being in the living room.
The landlord has never explained in his description of the house, that there is a dehumidifier running in the bedroom, hence we didn´t know anything about the extreme humidity and mold in the house. We wouldn´t have booked the accommodation, if we had known this.
I´ve explained the landlord the whole situation in several messages, but he insisted that it´s not his or the houses fault and that he won´t refund me my money. I asked him to accept my cancellation wish and to refund me the booking fee, but he didn´t want to. Now, I have to take legal steps, in order to get my money back. Due to this behaviour, we´ve lost 486 € and he has never suggested to give it back.

This is a beautiful place. The apartments are lovely and spacious. The gardens and view are killer. The kitchen was just amazing and well appointed. The beds were comfortable. It even had a french press for coffee!!

Nothing, full of bugs rats and insects, worst humidity ever, the bed and the mattress are from one horror movie by 1965, also impossible to sleep for the position of the apartment, please avoid this scam!!
Also this rent is handle by another agency and not booking, they didn’t tell us about the party and was impossible to sleep because they played music until 4am for two days.
If I want party I go to Ibiza, not in a town of 70 people in Azores

We had a great stay at Casa do Avô Silva house. The location is wonderful, with a great upper view on the ocean from the terrace. The place is quite (airport is nearby, but just 2 or 3 small islands planes during the day only, so no problem at all) and also with some very nice natural sea-pool (or tidal pool) nearby.
Flores island was our favorite among the others, so for sure we highly recommend this place.
(I will add that Bruno was so kind to send back the headset my friend forgot, Thank you so much Bruno !)

A brand new property with easy access to Fajã Grande. The villa we stayed in was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. All the required amenities were present. The area was very quiet as it was a short walk away from the main street in Fajã Grande.
Good location in the middle of village close to waterfalls. Clean and looks brand new house. The owner is living close and available in case of any help needed.

Villas do Mar picked us up from the airport, and returned us there. Very friendly and informative. Location was excellent for the trails we wanted to follow. Only issue- we should have had 1 or 2 more days!
Large and luxurious villa, we had much more space than expected. Airconditioning was sufficient for a cool house also in the bedroom. Quiet. Some restaurants and 1 minimarket at walking distance. Faja Grande is a nice place to stay on Flores island.
The apartment met our expectations. It was clean, big, had a great view over the atlantic and a well equipped kitchen and bed rooms and bathrooms. The location in Fajal Grande was perfect to get everywhere in Flores and especially the waterfalls were very close by. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the handover was quick and easy. There are two little restaurants and one supermarket in walking distance. I can definitly reccomend Villas de Mar for anyone staying in Flores and I would book it again, if I were to come back.
