This hotel was exceptional in all respects and in our group stay was a class above the Paradors.

We had a lovely room over looking splendid gardens. The silence was wonderful, broken only by the the occasional bleating of sheep & braying of a donkey.
It has a slightly run down atmosphere of faded grandeur, which only made us like it more.
The staff were all very nice & the restaurant excellent, serving a very good buffet breakfast & evening meals. What more can I say?
Peaceful quiet retreat, perfect for relaxing. Gòod value and easy to find, just trust sat nav when turn of main road, not exactly sign posted prominently. Stayed one night travelling through but would be happy to return for short break. Old quinta charm, not modern concrete box.
If you are looking 4 star luxury then this place isn't for you, but if you want a self catering clean and comfortable little apartment at a reasonable price this is it.

Plenty to see and do around Elvas, some stunning old fortifications and a lovely old town.
Beautiful place, located very conveniently not far from a motorway. Old villa turned into a hotel. There is even a chapel on the premises. Great breakfast which is included into the price.
we stayed 5 nights in the apt and we based at this place to disciver Elvas some lovely villages in the Alto Alentejo. thus is a gorgeous place, very nicely renovated, lovely spacious apt, well-runned accommodation, amazing people/staff, fresh home made breakfast. small (8 rooms and 1 apt with 2 rooms) peaceful hotel, a lovely garden with a pool, honesty bar… so many positives reasons to stay here.

The pool area, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi are all excellent.

We love staying here as it is so tranquil. Breakfast is good. You can ask for all kind of eggs and bacon. Delicious bread. The rooms are luxurious and spotless. We had a small suite this time which was a special treat. Wander around the grounds. Go for a swim. The pool is shallow so ideal for nervous swimmers like me. The food is good and they will accommodate special requests. You can have lunch from 2 pm which suits us as we like to eat early in the day and not in the evening.
