Cute three-level house with lovely/fabulous terrace overlooking the rooftops of the old town. Beds comfortable. Very quiet (except for barking dog early in the morning, but that can't be helped). Great shower with good water pressure. Very clean, even under the beds. We were four females traveling together and spacewise it was very comfortable for all of us, especially since it had two toilets. Great location in the old part of town. We were a short walk to all the activity.
Despite the odd decor (read below), the apartment was actually nice, which is why we are giving it high points. We want to give the owner the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she was trying to make the apartment feel larger with so many mirrors and a false door? Maybe she had a morbid but harmless sense of humor with her book displays and artwork? Or maybe she had a non-English speaking decorator?

Communication with the owner was exceptional and he was there on arrival to show us around the property and hand over the keys. The whole villa was spotless and the outdoor veranda overlooking the pool just perfect. The villa has all the amenities required for a comfortable holiday, we're already thinking of rebooking for next year! If you're looking for a quieter holiday the Eastern Algarve won't disappoint and this villa and location we would highly recommend.
