This house is very clean and comfortable. Everything you might need. modern bathrooms. The owner is very helpful. The people in the village are very nice. We used the train in and Taxis to get back from Fundao. We even walked into Fundao one day 2 miles.

It was all perfect, cleanliness, rooms , location and facilities.... Everything was spot on... Really enjoyed the stay.. beautiful village.. The check-in instructions were sent in advance and even the Google maps link and step by step direction in pdf .... Its been long since I came across some properly managed accommodation....10/10.
The stay at Carvalhal Redondo was perfect! We stayed at the villa, which is a beautiful architectural designed by one the farm's owners. The other buildings in the farm were beautifully renovated too, whist keeping the essence of Beira Baixa. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. They went an extra mile to make us comfortable. The breakfast was varied and delicious.

Everything about our stay at Pedra Nova was exceptional! The host, the house, the room, the facilities, and the meals were all top notch in every respect. The location is perfect for exploring Castelo Novo, as well as visiting other historical villages in the area. (Castelo Novo is beautiful, but do not miss Monsanto, Sortelha, Belmonte and Idanha-a-Velha, all of which are short drives from Pedra Nova.) Miguel is a kind and helpful host and Pedra Nova is by far the best B&B in which we have ever stayed.
