Casa da Salga is like a luxury accommodation, so well set up in the kitchen, plenty of soft plush towels, spotlessly clean, view of the Atlantic Ocean and includes all the charm of rural Terceira. There are excellent cafes and restaurants nearby, a winery to tour and a wine museum. Sandra is a friendly accommodating host. Her welcome was a good initiation to the island. She was very quick to answer our questions about the island.
Everything - since the attention of the owner to the guests, to the breakfast and how it's delivered and presented, with local and fresh products, to the facilities and the villas perfectly decorated and super confortable.
Absolutely everything was perfect. I would live in one of these villas haha - modern design, clean, cozy, quiet, and absolutely felt luxurious. And the owners are so so sweet and go above and beyond to help you feel comfortable... Not to mention the breakfast is fantastic! When I come back to Terceira I'm definitely staying here again. Hands down the best lodging I've ever experienced and I travel a lot!
Terceira and their people... We can only conclude we will miss the island. The people are helpful, have a great hospitality, share their food and drinks, are honest and clean. We appreciated the big help of Mafalda. The Moinho was well located in a quiet village. We enjoyed the time inside. We had a comfortable bed. On a rainy day we had a shelter in the kitchen where we cooked and enjoyed a cup of wine. Best sleep in my entire holiday.
We have no negativity on this stay. Mafalda is a great host! We would come back if we can.
