The location was away from the main town, but still easily accessible by car. It was a nice quiet area along a bay with kayaks for use. The hosts are lovely people and invited me to lunch Saturday afternoon in their home with them and several French and Tahitian friends. I also went to church and a local market with the spry elderly mom on Sunday. This is a great place to stay if you want to get to know people who live here.

The house layout is lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The bathrooms are spacious. The sitting area is very comfortable with a view is the ocean that is amazing. The front porch is the nicest I’ve ever seen. It is a LOT closer to the water than I’d understood.

Amazing snorkeling and a gorgeous beach. The house is a great base for your stay on Raiatea, and very conveniently located. We highly recommend taking the kayaks out to the motu, which is not too far! The dogs were very friendly and a lot of fun too. We'd love to return and highly recommend!
