Secure private villa ideally located on a mostly private black sand beach, pristine swimming pool surrounded by well maintained gardens, private balcony overlooking the ocean, community kitchen, availability of washer and dryer, and Jorge our host who personally cooked our morning breakfast, toured us around the area, was a wealth of information about Panama, and ultimately a friend!!
The location was beachfront & Jose the man incharge of the hostel was wonderful. He did everything to ensure we have a pleasant stay. The chill out area was really nice & we enjoyed the place!
A fantastic place in majestic mountains, with beautiful rainforest nature. The villa is charming, superbly equipped with a beautiful garden. The owners are extremely friendly and courteous. It's worth staying there longer.
Quiet little beach village, and surfer spot. Good vibes with the staff and lots of sun and relaxation. Lovingly furnished with comfortable outdoor showers, everything you need as a backpacker. Easy to reach by local bus.
CafeGourmet was incredible!!! Johnny, the owner, was so kind, accomodating, and went well above what was needed to make our stay so wonderful. The pictures of the villa on line only show a fraction of its beauty.....it is AMAZING!! Johnny cooked us a delicious breakfast every morning. We ate out on the veranda over looking the ocean ejoying his delicious coffee. He was the kindest host I have ever met. We are already planning a trip back!!!
location is very beautiful but more remote than i expected. it is a 40 minute drive to go out for dinner , either to the village of Anton itself or to coronado. breakfast is in a lovely setting, homecooked in mexican style. would suggest adding chorizo
to the scrabled eggs course to add a little more protein for us meat eaters.
Walking distance to beach. in the center of a village with grocery store across the street and a nice little central square. nice rooftop seating area. comfortable beds.
