Nice location and options to go on many excursions. Staff is generally nice, in particular the gardener was nice and shared some of his stories with us around the sanctuary. Kayaks are available to paddle and the nearby village is nice and trails to the other side of the island.
We stayed in number 5 villa which was the perfect location. Huge balcony and room with a large bathroom. The food was outstanding and I thoroughly recommend the dinner option, with wine.
It is easy to get a water taxi to town or to any of the other islands. Pierre and Manon were the perfect hosts and could not have been more helpful. A really memorable stay.

In the natural state, eco friendly, quiet, snorkeling and kayaking within property (free!), hiking within property, next to nature reserve, wild life. Hike to town, we hiked to banks village then to wizard beach and finally to red frog beach along the beach (all free, if done reverse have to pay red frog beach $5) and then took water taxi ($8) to town for Christmas Eve dinner finally water taxi back to ataraxia from the dock of the restaurant ($6)
Location is very good . Unfortunately the tree house villa is made of container steel sheets and it gets really hot in the morning. On the other side the water villa is very nice and fully recomended.
Ideal place if you go with a large family group, beautiful, big and scenic views. I stayed with a big family group at one of the villas they're perfect for family time.
Everything! The honeymoon villa was stunning, it was great to be able to go for a swim straight from your terrace. The food was truly delicious, as were the cocktails so you don't even have to leave if you don't want to. The jungle walk was fun and we spotted several animals. The staff were incredibly lovely, particularly Alejandro who took us on a great tour. We highly recommend doing a tour with him if possible.
