I loved the house , it was next to the river . Even tho the weather wasn't great it was beautiful scenery in the mornings and afternoon .nice a quiet area. The house was nice and warm . Everythink was perfect to me and my family . Kitchen had everythink we needed . The rooms were big and comfortable . Had extra blankets for us to watch movies in the lounge. It even had a suana but we didnt use it . So much indoor games to play on the rainy days . Also outside games. The kids enjoyed there stay so did i . Custom service was easy to talk to . We ended up booking it longer .

We truly loved everything about Wairimu Lodge. From the beautifully decorated room and luxurious bathroom, to the view, to the thoughtful touches including ample breakfast options (even croissants!). It was so quiet and peaceful, and felt incredibly private despite being attached to Peta & Rich's house. Peta & Rich are incredibly generous hosts, and the welcome book provided gave us so many helpful hints about the property, the local area, and even included up-to-date menus of local eateries.
I love everything about the place. It's exactly what it looked like in the photos and more. The view is amazing, plus Peta and Rich are so accommodating.
I was craving for a bit of relaxation somewhere luxurious and it's what I got.
I'm hoping to come back soon.
The apartment was very modern and well furnished an equipped. The private courtyard was attractive. We liked the colourful tiles of New Zealand scenes outside the apartments. The availability of a laundry was appreciated. The location on the beachfront was great.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Lounge and decor luxurious with fire lit in the lounge especially for us.
Lovely outlook and host family friendly and helpful. Three cosy bedrooms all upstairs. Recommended A+
