It was dog friendly and had a great setup to give dogs space/grass to relax, but was also secure. The house was modern, fully fitted out with every convenience, was so comfortable and with a lovely enclosed deck to relax on. It was close to the beach, shops etc. Really pefect holiday and will definitely stay there again.

The house is a tastefully modernised villa in a nice quiet setting. Julie is an excellent host and made sure I was comfortable throughout. As Araluen Cottage is near the fringe of the township, it was so nice waking up to hear birdsong outside.
The house is a lovingly renovated wooden villa in a quiet street. It is within a few minutes’ walk of the town centre.
I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived by the friendly host who showed me my room, private bathroom and the main living area. I had the best sleep in the comfy bed and woke to birdsong.
I had everything I needed for my stay and more. Appreciated the electric blanket on the cool night and the mountain of pillows - bliss! Hope to return to this special place and warmly recommend.
Julie's home is beautiful and a true reflection of her personality. Love all the little momentos and small details she put into designing the place. Bed was super comfy and the shower was luxurious!! Julie was a fantastic host - extremely friendly and welcoming. Our stay at Araluen Cottage was one of the highlights of our trip - thank you so much Julie. - Alex and Jack :)
