Everything the accommodation is just perfect. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay welcoming from snacks milk bread etc on arrival. We can’t recommend peaceful on Pembroke more highly. We came to hike to the base of taranaki volcano 🌋 we couldn’t of been in a better location.

Lovely quiet location, in beautiful gardens. The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious. It was great to see an historic villa so well maintained. Wonderful stay!
The appartment is located near the main street, however the traffic noise will die down during the night. It has a kitchen, which I didn't use, and a table with chairs to sit at. The manager is a friendly young man, who will help you when needed. The restaurants are within walking distance and sightseeing locations are around, use car. It is not the most luxurious but it will suit your stay for a couple of days with the experience of a small NZL town.
Everything.... nice location, quiet, private and good facility room. Only 25mins to New Plymouth and Countdown just 3rd driveway up the road so can walk. Taranaki Village a must visit to experience history and only short drive away. Good and safe environment.
Great location for stop off on the Forgotten Highway. Hotel is the focal point and is busy centre of the village, people are friendly and we enjoyed looking around the history on the walls of the hotel and around the area. The lodge room was basic (see comments below) but nevertheless had a comfortable undisturbed sleep.
