Incredible house! Loved the pool table, board games, hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, piano -- wish we could've stayed longer. Having the wood stove burning for us when we arrived was a nice touch.

Rivendell is an exceptional property nestled at the back of Horopito with lovely views, no neighbors, and a feeling of going back decades in time. The property itself is nicely structured to handle large groups with all of the amenities needed. We were cozy, comfortable and happy for our 4 day stay and enjoyed all that Ruapehu has to offer.

This is an absolutely fantastic and magical place, we were amazed! Comfort, atmosphere, luxury, views, literally everything exceeded our expectations. One and only place we will definitely come back to!
This accomodation object is located in nice village, about 30 min. drive to Tongariro National Park.
It is managed by private owners, the are very nice and helpfull. Room was nice, well equipped and clean. I was possible to use shared-fridge and kitchen. Breafast was pretty modest, but very tasty. Parking is possible outside the building and it's free of charge.
