The House was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented and appointed. Communication was great and there were wee treats on arrival.

Beautiful view and it was lovely to look out from the window seat at the sea as it got dark. Very spacious for family of four. Loved the heated bathroom as it was cold out.

Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Wonderful, quiet location with view of the sea and surrounding National Park.
Clean, comfortable accommodation, with very friendly hosts.
Walking distance to the village with all its facilities and activities for enjoying this beautiful area
Location was superb. Views over Abel Tasman. Worth getting up early to watch the sunrise. The retreat had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Anna the owner was lovely. Would highly recommend.
We fell in love with this place! Great location with a very nice view. It has all the facilities that you need. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. Anna is a great host. She even went through the trouble to send a package our way after we had left something at the retreat.
Buena Vista is a brilliant place -it’s different, it’s peaceful, it’s authentic. it’s in a great spot not far from the coast but away a bit so you have that peace and quiet. there is easy access to walks in the Abel Tasman Nat Park and all the boat and kayak places that service the park as well. couple of good little cares in the village also. Christa is a great hostess, very very helpful and obliging. Would love the chance to go back again.
We stayed at a cabin one night, in the campground the next. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the Abel Tasman area. You can easily walk to the park and to the stores in the village. A great cafe at the park entrance. The general setting and location is fantastic. The store is very nice with good coffee and fresh eggs from their chickens. The camping experience was very good. The facilities very good. The cabin situation, not great.
Lovely modern cabin with balcony for breakfasting. Owners went out of their way to provide a shower seat in the new bathroom. Insect screens a bonus. Great gourmet burgers just up the road at the Fat Tui. Quiet retreat up a spectacular maple tree driveway beautifully adorned in autumn glory.
Marahau is a little village at the start of the Abel Tasman Great Walk. The room was comfy and warm, handy to everything in Marahau.
Found it a bit weird having no sheet between the duvet and bottom sheet. Not a biggy though.
