We had an amazing stay at the Carriage House! The property is in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. The property itself is not far away from town centre either. Adrian, our host, is a knowledgeable local with a deep love for New Zealand’s history—his fascinating stories and travel advice truly enhanced our experience. The horses on the property were so friendly, and we even spotted a grey rabbit hopping around, which added a magical touch. Adrian also took the time to show us his collection of vintage carriages, which was a real highlight. Staying at the Carriage House offered so much more than just great value—it’s an experience that money can’t buy, filled with warmth, hospitality, and a rich sense of heritage. We would definitely stay here again if we revisit Kerikeri. Highly recommended!

The location was excellent for the beach - my daughter (8) and husband were in their element with their water sports! I enjoyed watching them with my wine from the deck!

I absolutely loved this house! It had everything necessary for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like home. The location was perfect – just a 5-minute walk from the center, but still peaceful and away from the noise of the crowds. One of the highlights was hearing native birds at night, which added a special charm to the experience. It’s an ideal place for anyone looking for both convenience and tranquility. Highly recommended!

Cozy place nested among the trees. It was really nice to have breakfast or make a BBQ on the balcony. Mornings were the best waking up to the birds and cigalas. The place was very clean, well thought and great pressure in the shower!

Beautiful place to stay; luxurious feeling throughout. So vastly different from the norms. And there was a bonus of freshly baked biscuits and fudge brownies and a whole lot more.
Beautifully maintained colonial style villa accommodation on the outskirts of Kerikeri. Extremely clean and well maintained, exceptionally good value for money, set on peaceful and private grounds looking towards the township.
Lovely big room with a balcony overlooking bush. Comfortable bed. Lovely kitchen/sitting area. Good choice of breakfast foods. Close to a great restaurant, a Maori village recreation and lovely walks nearby. There is the old Stone House and a lovely cafe very close by.
Kerikeri town is a short drive away.
We had a free upgrade to Birdsong Retreat. The accommodation was beautiful, modern, and luxurious. Owners were friendly and welcoming. This was more of a home than any hotel room could be, with comfortable seating, upmarket furnishings, and fabulous bedding. I can't recommend Treghan Luxury Lodge highly enough. It was a wonderful stay.
The Host was extremely welcoming. The bed was the best bed I have ever slept in and the pillows soft and luxurious.
A great breakfast included in the price : granola, fruits greek yohurt, toast and jam etc and a Nespresso machine! Bloody brilliant !
Very close to Kerikeri village. Definitely recommend and would stay here again next time. A delightful garden retreat that feels like home. Well done !
