Clean rooms, everything that you need for a 10 day stay. Good location for all hikes around lofoten. Friendly host. A lot of rooms for sleeping and relaxing. Rooms are bright, but you can pull down blinds. Outside there is a small terrace in front and back of the house. Good fast heating sollutions so during colder days it's easy to get warm + heated shower floor, hot water was never an issue. Always parking right in front of house, good TV. Overall a
very cosy place.

Location is very authentic, close to airport and main Lofoten road. Nice view of the water and mountains. Beds are surprisingly comfortable although tall people can experience some inconvenience. But it’s a European thing!
Host is very helpful, response time is excellent.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing for our 4 days in Lofoten. The hosts were always easy to communicate with, all of the home instructions were clear and simple to follow. The home itself sits right on the water with unparalleled views of the surrounding area. It was a treat to wake up every day with views out towards the sea and some of the many mountains in Lofoten. The area is really convenient to get around the rest of the archipelago (about 1hr to Riene in the south and 1hr to Svolvaer in the north). The house had everything that we needed. I couldn't recommend this home enough!

This place has a great atmosphere that seems to keep up the old-time fishing spirit. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and included a small kitchen and bathroom. To our surprise it even had a little terrace where one could look over the bay. We however chose to sit at the bar terrace as it had some amazing woodwork of eagles and fishes and a bunch of fish drying in the salty air. Definitely a recommendation if you are looking for an authentic experience in a small fishing village in Lofoten.
Everything was perfect! A cozy holiday home in a quaint, not touristy area, perfect for longer stays too. The living room was lovingly furnished, the kitchen perfectly equipped. The village is in comfortable driving distance for most tourist spots (and a lot of hidden gems), very good shopping center in the nearby town.
We had a lovely stay at this modern and luxurious apartment. The view is incredible, the kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped, and the bed is large and comfortable. Even having a shower there felt like we were staying at a luxury resort! Exceeded our expectations :)
Beautiful cabins. The owner is lovely and always ready to help. We got to set up a bbq and he let us use the rowing boat to go to the centre of the fisherman village. Also some really beautiful hikes near the cabin.
The robru was extremely well equipped. Everything you needed seemed to be there. The view across the water was lovely whether from the outside patio or from the rooms that looked that direction. Ballstad is a lovely village to be based in as it's a working environment, with normal life going on around you. It also has a small supermarket, cafe, and a choice of good restaurants. We highly recommend!
